Charismatic speakers are a rare commodity.  That’s why when you find such a pairing plans are carefully laid to maximise the opportunity. 
Accordingly on Saturday 4^th February at the Holiday Inn Hotel at Telford (50 yards from the Classic Off Road show) the “Giles and Jackson Dinner” will take place featuring, before dinner, Mike Jackson – factory Greeves rider, raconteur extraordinaire, Bonham’s consultant, Beaulieu compere and, latterly, the man who infiltrated the Goodwood  hierarchy to include a circuit parade and display of scrambling.His repertoire of racing stories combined with his dry wit is simply a great listen that an audience hopes will never end! 
Then, after dinner, the Guest of Honour, Johnny Giles, is the centre of attraction. John is an accomplished and humorous speaker. Knowledgeable yet interesting, down to earth yet charming and considerate, talented yet modest and respectful yet courageous, Rarely does the world produce such a fine example of the human race and it is an honour to be able to arrange an evening to celebrate his life’s achievements. 
The dinner is not run for profit, simply for all to enjoy an evening with good food, good company and with tales of yesteryear from Mike and John to be relished.  Early completion of the form is advisable. A vegetarian main course is available (please indicate on booking form if required).
